This week Hail to the Chief got replaced by an R. Kelly Parody.

Zen and the Art of Miniature Scene Creation

Recommended Pairing:

Miniature realistic bottles of whiskey and a very real bong rip.

Yup, you just sat through nearly 20 minutes of a guy with a soothing accent saying Mod-Podge a bunch and making a little woody miniature landscape.

You're welcome.

I live for these little gems on the internet. Those videos where you hit play, then the next thing you know, you're slightly in the future having learned nothing. I'm never going to build a diorama or be in a position where any of this information may come in useful. At least I hope not.

That's the beauty of these videos you randomly stumble upon. It's like that feeling when you suddenly realized you drove home from work, but have almost no recollection of the journey.

Here's another great one.

Is it the giant hands molding the world into shape that evokes thoughts of god, the universe, and our place in it — or is it nothing more than our brains latching on to anything that has nothing to do with politics?

Either way, I know I'll be watching miniature scenes being meticulously created every time I feel unsure about my place in the world and need to be calmed down.

'Til next week.
