As we all know, George Reeves' Adventures of Superman, was the first major live action adaptation of the Man of Steel, and paved the road for follow-up shows, such as Adam West's Batman, and Lynda Carter's Wonder Woman.

Now, we know for sure, that Batman, Wonder Woman and the Green Hornet, all exist on Earth 66, but what about George Reeves' Superman?

What actually happened to George Reeves?

Was it suicide or murder? I know it was ruled as a suicide but it doesn't seem that may exactly explain it. His mother didn't believe it was suicide, however, others who were there made comments about him going upstairs to off himself. No fingerprints were found on the gun and there was no gun residue on his hands.
