I like D'Andra. I don't think she's a bad person. I think she was just born insanely privileged and is naturally more self centered than people who didn't have that upbringing. I like a delusional self centered housewife myself. Ultimately she's entertaining and harmless.
She also has achieved a lot. She had a huge addiction to cocaine and managed to kick the habit. She left a great job to work with her mother, her mother then gives her a company at the brink of collapse and D'Andra managed to turn it around. Her father committed suicide, her mum has been controlling of her trust-fund, her mother is also very complicated and competitive andddd the other half of her family isn't talking to her. I bet there is also a lot more we don't know. So I don't judge her by some of the silly behaviour I witness, because I think deep down she's a strong, kind woman, and we have definitely seen a lot of that side of her.
She is also the offspring of a very self centred mother and pretty much an only child.
I've always liked that, though she grew up so privileged, she's used that to travel the world and experience and appreciate other cultures. I especially love her love of food. None of this picky 5 year old behavior.
Her likability level has always been a rollercoaster and I think this has been her best season!
Less shaman, more stories about being a groupie in the 90s please.

He was my hairdresser! After living in LA, NY, Boston, and Dallas, he is still hand's down the best hairdresser I have ever had. I live in LA now and keep trying to get him to come out. That man has talent.

I was SO uncomfortable. I get like that sometimes where I can't deal in a moment and am just falling apart. What I need is to be left ALONE but people always try to help and it always makes it worse. I showed up at a party once having a nervous breakdown because there was a weird traffic thing in the middle of town and I couldn't get to the house, it took me an extra 1/2 hour because it kept sending me in circles. My friends couldn't understand why I was losing it and I just kept trying to tell them to just let me calm down and I'd be ok.

This honestly gives so much context to her somewhat "social awkwardness" and unsureness in a new group. Hell I moved ONCE in childhood and that sucked, I cant even imagine permanently having that feeling growing up and then trying to break into a tight clique as an adult and reliving that horrible "new kid" feeling.
AND she said that she was never really allowed to have friends, and during college she spent all her time studying. She literally doesn’t have the experience with catty girls / just general girl group behaviors! I can’t even imagine how tough that would be.

Brandi 100% resents Tiffany’s presence on the show. It’s like she was hoping that Tiffany would cartwheel onto the show for her redemption moment and then hastily cartwheel out. Brandi clearly hates having her around, most likely because Tiffany is a constant reminder of her racism. That’s why she’s so hung up on every little interaction she has with her. If her video was really just a “joke done in bad taste”, then Brandi wouldn’t feel this emotional about Tiffany’s sheer presence. It also feels like she’s constantly prodding at Tiffany for a negative reaction because in Brandi’s mind, this would absolve her of the video.
It is so unfair the way people of color are expected to carry the emotional burden of other people’s racism. I can’t even imagine, and it must be fucking exhausting. Everyone should have held Brandi accountable in that moment instead of doing it later from the safety of their confessionals.
