Gutted for the mums. Loved them so much. They were such a positive presence every single time. Going to miss them heaps. Great place to be last in tho
With that, that's a sad string of three all-female eliminations
I have a bad feeling it might be 4 in a row with Lauren & Steph probably the most likely to be out next.
They're pretty good at doing challenges efficiently, and they did well to survive the speedbump, but I think they're for sure the least physically fit team remaining out of the Top 7. There's been a lot of footraces in these legs, so I think they're probably going to struggle to keep pace with the other 6 remaining teams who are all pretty speedy.
That said, they seem pretty street-smart and good at navigation and problem-solving, so maybe they can do well enough at the challenges to keep far enough ahead to survive a footrace
Keep in mind that this season was inordinately stacked for female racers (likely since a woman has never won TARAUS). Eight all-female teams, eight co-ed teams, four all-male teams. It was inevitable that a lot of female teams were going to be eliminated, even if three all-female teams made the finale.
Good point. And I think the challenges have been an excellent array of skillsets, lots of options using creativity, mind or negotiation not just physicality! (Or stomachs, haha)!!!
The vibe isn't quite right with Flick and Gabby gone, I don't know how to explain it.
I still miss Flick & Gabby. They brought the competitiveness and energy.
I loved Gabby and Flick! ☹️
same. it feels almost....BORINGGGG.. zzzzzz
I must say they are going to some incredible places in this season…and the preview of next episode looks like some more pretty awesome challenges. I’m a lot more envious of the contestants this year than I was last time when I felt like most of the race was just down the road
Haven't they spent the last 3 legs in the same country?
TAR Australia (Network 10) usually spends 3 legs in one country before travelling to the next country.
That's only this season and not a 'usually' thing, likely to better lay out their scheduling with themed weeks of programming (eg. the Morocco week, then the Greece week).
Network 10 only had AUS last season and followed a normal US-style race route (no more than two legs per country) in TARAUS4.
Also likely due to Covid, so reducing the number of border hops they need to do.
Ah, my bad, I miscounted for TAR Australia 4.
Why are they all starting at the same time? Seems harsh on people who worked hard to get pole position!
Well it's weird, cos in earlier legs they definitely did leave in the order they arrived.
Maybe they're just doing it temporarily as a simultaneous start just for these legs where teams are returning from quarantine, so as not give them a double-disadvantage of starting last in addition to having to do a speedbump?
Or maybe the producers decided to change it to be like this, to shake up the frontrunners a bit more from leg to leg
That's actually a good reason, as to not disadvantage Lauren & Steph too much.
They like to change the rules at the drop of a hat. So when watching TARAu, you just have to accept their random rule changes and go with it. I guess.
Literally didn't see Chelsea and Jamus for the entire episode. Guess they got enough screen time in the last few episodes, which was probably 70% fighting lol
So sad to see Jodie and Claire go. They absolutely smashed it. In the end there really wasn't much of a chance considering how fit and fast all the other teams were physically. Was really close with them and the cops though
i missed my dose of Jamus and Chelsea arguing for no reason whatsoever.
literally! sometimes it's quite abusive but I always get a laugh out of those 2
Aw, I knew it was almost certainly gonna happen tonight or tomorrow night, but it's still sad to see Jodie & Claire go. I've loved their vibes all throughout, they seem like actually the nicest people, and they've done extremely well to have survived this far into the race (certainly much further than most people would have predicted, I'm sure). TAR Aus casts to a type, and there's always a team of quirky older ladies, but none of them have ever done as well as Jodie & Claire.
I'm impressed that Lauren & Steph survived their solo speedbump though, I thought that was going to be the end of them for sure. Nice to have them back, I like their vibes too.
Also shout-outs to Heath & Toni - they struggled a bit early, but it feels like they're really hitting their stride now at the right time. I think they're the ones I'd most like to see win the whole race
What about the nuns from 2019's season? Even though they left the show very early, they were still a joy to watch!
Judy & Therese? Yeah, they were entertaining to watch.
oh i still remember them! they made me giggle with their oh-so-cute personalities.
They've really taken the crown here and I love it. Really keeps TAR Aus fresh.
So glad that the Cops survived the speed bump. Felt Angel’s terror seeing the sting rays-I think that Aussies probably have a more acute fear of them than other people, given Steve-RIP. Such beautiful scenery tonight-I want to go there! 😊 Beau is back to hugging-if the Bubonic Plaque ever hits Oz-he is in real strife!-LOL.
Kelly's haircare routine resembles mine. Literally zero shits given
I put gel in my hair during primary school and that was about it
Even as a bloke who plaits his daughters hair every morning, that did not look like an easy ask!
I’m with you mate, I just keep it short enough so I don’t need to worry about any sort of styling to look tidy enough when leaving home
Hahaha yeah me too. I love you.
Here is the summary for TAR Australia S06E15!
Lauren & Steph returns to the race and they have to do a Speed Bump. All teams start at the same time for this leg.
Route Info: Teams make their way on foot to the boat dock to get on one of two boats to Caye Caulker, Belize. The first boat can only carry 4 teams. Teams must feed the tarpons with sardines at the feeding area before receiving their next clue.
Steph: "We were blowing out the cobwebs, so I'm not sure with 'alright'!"
The teams encounter sharks.
Angel: "Shut the front door!"
Georgia: "They're not going to eat your hand, Kelly.
"Heath: "And if it does, then well..."
Roadblock: Shark Ray Alley
Teams must take a small boat Shark Ray Alley at the Belize Barrier Reef. One team racer must snorkel and find conch shells while avoiding the sharks. Once teams find the conch shells with the race colours, the boat drivers will give teams their next clue.
Angel: "I'm afraid of a goldfish..."
Kelly can hold his breath underwater for a longer period of time.
Detour: Twirl It or Twerk It?
Twirl It: Teams must braid a person's hair with 8 cornrolls. Once teams complete the hairstyle properly, they will receive their next clue.
Twerk It: Teams make their way on foot to the Lazy Lizard to learn the twerk dance. Once teams perform the dance well, the Queen Dancer will give teams their next clue.
Beau: "It's a booty-licious dance!"
Angel starts to panic when seeing the stingrays and sharks.
Heath: "Have you seen my booty? I CANNOT twerk!"
Pako: "We like to have fun!"
Roadblock: Go Slow
Teams make their way on foot to the street adjacent to the Il Pellicano Cucina Italiana restaurant. One team racer must ride a bike slowly down a bumpy road with coconuts at the back. Once teams ride to the finish line in 2.5 minutes without touching the ground nor have any coconuts falling off, they will receive their next clue.
Beau: "I ride like my wife drives. Slow and dangerous."
Tiffany & Cynthia have done a lot of braiding before.
Pitstop: Teams must make their way via a small ferry to the Northside Beach of The Split. The last team to check in may be eliminated.
Ubank sponsored the hair braiding Detour.
Speed Bump: Returning Teams
Lauren & Steph need to do this Speed Bump. The racer that didn't do the previous Shark Ray Alley Roadblock will do the Go Slow Roadblock.
Heath & Toni won 1st Place and each won a Samsung 4K TV.
Pako & Mori (2nd Place).
Angel & Frankie (3rd Place).
Tiffany & Cynthia (4th Place).
Kelly & Georgia (5th Place).
Chelsea & Jamus (6th Place).
Lauren & Steph (7th Place).
Jodie & Claire arrived in Last Place and are now eliminated.
Next Episode: Teams fly to Mexico to eat scorpions and swimming in the cenote caves.

hahahaha this comment.
Jodie and Claire are legends, very sad to see them go. I'm glad at least that they got to finish in such a beautiful location
Skilled, and steady wins the race, seemed like their theme.
I liked how calm and methodical they were throughout the entire race.
It was certainly inspirational to have the oldest team cast get so far in the competition. Will miss them.
I get the feeling they'd be a more serious challenger if they competed 15 or so years ago lol. Didn't really make mistakes and quite good with most challenges but outclassed physically unfortunately
That's good, all teams were full. I hoped that Fast Forward would appear again in Mexico or in Western Australia from this leg to the Final Leg.
From the cheat sheet TAR Australia provided, the U-turn hasn't been seen yet either.

It's a Huge Relief that no more teams are in quarantine 🤞

Ohhh no, that would have been fun to see

All the teams are racing once again. And Heath & Toni seem to be serious contenders now, having come back from a –529 rating after leg 4.
Any episode with Beau in a budgie smuggler is a great episode
Nobody has a speed bump today unless the cops are back, so will be an interesting one in relation to placements.
How do you watch?
From the network's website:
https://10play.com.au/the-amazing-race-australia
Props to all the black women letting a bunch of white people touch their hair.
Beau twerking was the funniest thing I've seen all season. Love Beau
oh my gosh xD he didn't do all that bad.
Wife is loving Beau in the budgie smugglers!
Don't mean to be rude but does anyone thinks the cop girls are a tad unfit for police forces? They are severely outclassed by other teams (none of whom are athletes or anything like that)
Perhaps the lead time for knowing you’ve been selected for this particular season of TARAUS wasn’t that much but if you were going to even get to the stage of sending in an audition video, wouldn’t you want to be in the best shape? The season of TARUSA that was disrupted by COVID and then resumed months and months later, it shocked me that some teams hadn’t used that huge hiatus to get into shape.
If you don't mean to be rude, why criticise their fitness? Why not just mind your own business?
Because they're cops.
Well normally I wouldn't say anything about people's fitness (mine is nothing to brag about to be sure ) but I would've thought the police fitness test would be rigorous to ensure safety of officers and the public.
I'm just to leave it there
You know nothing about them, or their work situation aside from the compny they essentially work for. If your life isn't currently in danger or in need of assistance from these two particular police officers, then I suggest you keep your observations about another persons body to yourself.

Ah leave her alone, she's exhausted and upset about coming in last. Don't be so mean.
are they really not dating
They aren’t dating. Frankie probably wishes but she’s friend zoned him into another galaxy though sometimes she throws him little crumbs like crying into his arms.
LMAO
I think Frankie might be gay
u/kellyandgeorgia pls confirm
Please and I love you
Yikes wth that's incredibly mean! I thought it was a sweet moment and her reaction was understandable
I can't blame Angel for her fear of stingrays and sharks.
Having swum with stingrays myself, I can understand Angel panicking about a stingray or shark passing underneath, and not being able to touch the ground.
some of you hate Angel and Frankie for absolutely no reason and it shows.
We don’t dislike Frankie. It’s Mean Church Girl who is unable to carry her own backpack that we don’t like.
why do you care if she doesn't carry her backpack? It's not in the rule that each team member has to carry their own backpack.
Also, I am not seeing any Mean Girl behavior you speak of in the last several legs.
i love frankie. can't stand Angel for obvious reasons and a personal one; that i won't mention because I know no one would understand unless they have that disorder.
Who do you think is going to win? My bets on angel and frankie!
Does anyone have a way of watching this that isn’t via the 10Play website?
