Noticed a new grenade, new sights, updated old sights, USP, SCAR

Here's everything I noticed:
FN SCAR-L with Aimpoint T-1 with sunshades: 0:30
MTS-255 in 20 Gauge: 1:00
HK G28 with Bender & Schmidt 3-20x Scope + Aimpoint with sunshades on top: 1:15

There's a BEAR with KLMK camo somewhere but I can't find it.
Missed the new weapon malfunction (suppressor overheating) bit.
i see the suppressor getting hot but the error is a bolt jam in the bottom right.
I also couldn’t really see what the new inertia implementation was doing in the scene he time-stamped.

Thinking the new flashbang is actually a CTS 7290 based on the pin design. There's a small piece behind on the front side holding the pin and the 7290 has something similar to that. Otherwise the shape of both are so similar, they probably would perform similarly anyways.

Impact grenades? Oh boy.
This can go bad both ways. If you fk up the nade and throw it next to you gg
probably has a delay until its primed tho, so it won't explode if you unpin it and drop it next to you, like grenade launchers work (irl, not sure how they work in tarkov)
the impact fuze on a real RGO is 1 to 1.8 second(manufacturing quality differs). Its not going to save you for the most part.
The delay on the impact fuze is 1 to 1.8. That means that if within 1 second from unpinning grenade impacts on something it goes to timed fuze - which is standard 5 seconds and a bit more of a chance to save your ass.

In my head Lighthouse was a small, centralized map like Factory or something.
Very pumped for this map and pumped that they kept it under wraps so well. Threw out the Streets trailer a while back and then hit us with Lighthouse!
Looks pretty choke pointy though, at least on that skinny strip of land out to where the lighthouse is
I don't think that part of the map is accessible yet.
there will be an NPC trader at the lighthouse, you cannot easily kill him

100% this, or it's really cheap or something. You want it in basically every raid that you aren't just doing Factory with SMGs or something, so if we gotta buy it and lose it constantly I hope it's cheap. Really though I'd prefer it if it was like the compass, so I can't forget it before raid and wish I had it.
I would only buy it when intentionally long range sniping. Anything under 200 isn't too bad.

How many people actually complete that quest? IMO it's a bad idea to lock a QoL improvement behind a difficult quest.

The new suppresor is either multicaliber or comes with variations (can be seen used in 5,45 and 7,62 ak's and in one scene on the Saiga12)

So when a new map comes out people actually have no clue where the extracts are or how does it work?
0 clue until a community member makes a map.
So everyone will be lost until someone either figures out all the extracts and tells everyone or you figure it out yourself.
Reserve was a blast the first day it came out (when the servers actually worked lol). Everybody super interested in the train obviously, and how the alarm worked. So many theories. It was so fun. Excited for lighthouse
It was actually scary going up to train the first time. Wish I could do that again.
I remember my first raid was terrifying. It was starting to get dark and I had like 3 or 4 solo pmcs and player scavs fighting for the train. It’s dusk out and it was just such a fun fight. I snuck into the train and just hid while they fought it out. I didn’t even know when the train would leave, or if it would at all. The victor of the fight got all his loot, the train horn blared out, he ran on, I killed him and didn’t even get to loot him. The train left. One of my favorite moments in EFT ever and I’ve been playing for a few years now

Im making a map as we speak, need help though. I have experience with making tarkov maps but would love to work with the wiki guys, can’t seem to find their discord though.
So far there are two extracts: The tunnel on the west side and the armored train at the train station. The lighthouse is also probably a paid extract.
Maybe that helicopter with the green lights around it?

From clues and hints pieced together in the video and previous information about the map we had
Basically. They'll put stuff on the wiki fast but otherwise you'll have to use your problem solving skills to find it.
If it is something like "ZB-012" it will probably be hard to find but if it is "rock passage" shouldn't be too hard to find a location that matches the description.

That looks like a flashbang, tall and skinny.
A few seconds later it looks like there's an impact grenade (explodes on impact with the ground or an object) which seems to be confirmed a few seconds later as the character throws a grenade into a shipping container and it explodes on impact.

Actually really excited about that. Inb4 people start calling it babymode. If anything, it'll help train you to not need it. But I love that it's being added. I wonder if it'll take the compass slot and be permanent, but make you give up the compass.

I think you might have misread: I'm saying anyone who says that rangefinders are baby mode is an idiot. If you have one there's no reason not to use it.

I hope so, the compass is pretty useless once you have a basic understanding of the map layouts. It would be nice to upgrade to a rangefinder after a bit, maybe you unlock it when you accept the SBIH quest or something.

While dehydrated and suffering contusion, and having to kill three PMC’s with leg kills using a makarov before Jaeger nuts, while being unable to see because his junk is in your face. Oh and while gagging through VOIP.

if it’s expensive + can’t secure container / protected slot (like compass) i will pretty much only use it on offline just to practice not needing it

G28 is all tan, they've got the same scope setup as the real platform from HK. Ohhhh my lawd, if it's the G28/HK417 I'mma run it exclusively next wipe even if it's a mill on flea. haha

I forgot the US is replacing the M110 with HK's platform.

The M110 is an Army weapon primarily, and it isn't being replaced by the M110A1. The sniper community was not impressed by the M110A1's performance and does not intend to adopt it. It IS being used by non-snipers in an SDM capacity with a different optic. You'll still see the M110 being used, though it is getting a bit of a facelift with an improved optic and different optic mount.
Granted, I've been out of that loop for a year or so.

I'd really like to see a durability system per part. Means there could be reasons for buying better quality furniture eg. if it starts cracking and melting under high temperatures due to being shittily made plastic.

I'm working on getting myself a Razor HD 5-20 for my long range setup, so I know what you mean. The glass is crazy nice in those scopes. I really want an LPVO for an AR build but its just too pricey for something I cobbled together and won't shoot very often. I'm better off keeping my shitty Bushnell red dot LMAO

You can get a scope by the landmarks. There are clips of people being up near the path to the lighthouse, and then other clips of people with the lighthouse far, far in the background. Looks to be probably as big as Woods or Shoreline possibly. Also there is a clip of someone with the rangefinder looking at another PMC and the distance was ~240m, which is pretty big. Reserve is only about 300-325m wide, and this didn't look to be a cross-map snipe (but could have been).
In any case I'm pretty stoked, I think it will be a pretty big map

You can always do that. Bind a grenade to a number key. Press key and hold fire button.

I want to believe, but also recall that gameplay in Tarkov trailers is nothing like in-game. They could have done it for cinematic effect.
You see squads here having organized roles and frontlines, breaching doors in a stack, etc...then you play the game and it's a dozen space marines sprinting around, hipfiring with no recoil, scav bosses tanking 6 (SIX) sniper shots to the head, and goons ADADAD spamming in an open field. Trailer Tarkov is a game I desperately wish we were playing.

This is the biggest thing I'm excited for. New map will be nice as well as the new weapon, gameplay mechanics and stuff. But can I see VOIP leading to some really interesting gameplay scenerios. And it'll be fun to shit talk while you're fighting someone.

Oh yeah. I'm looking forward to having more tools for psychological warfare. Usually I'll sprint into a wall or change firemodes over and over to psych my opponent out if i know they're nearby.
Now I can hook my synth up when playing and throw down some unsettling sounds. Maybe I'll get a slide whistle as well.

I haven't noticed any reference to inertia being shown here. Only thing I saw is just at the end, the character starts running and gets killed. Looks the exact same way as it is now.
They might have recorded everything on an earlier build before inertia was implemented.
Then again, I didn't see a whole lot of stopping and moving, just moving or standing still, so its possible that it was there, they just didn't show it off.
The only stopping we see is when they slide on the ground (press “c” while sprinting).
Probably hard to demonstrate in a video like this.
Show someone starting or stopping to sprint should be enough.

There’s like a second of someone strafing left to right, where you can see how he needs to accelerate first, and he doesn’t just change direction immediately at full speed.
At 2:43 in the trailer you can see the player doing an ADAD strafe. Seems to work different from games like CS:GO. He comes to a hard stop, and accelerates "slowly" again.

Unity 2019 gave them the ability to implement it but I don't think it will he ready for 12.12. I would think that would come in the spring or summer next year.

Looks interesting, especially that revolver shotgun, though I was kinda hoping to see more of the inertia system displayed...maybe this was just recorded on an earlier test version that didn't have inertia implemented.

I really hope this patch does justice to LPVOs. Once you shoot a good LPVO like a vortex razor or nightforce it’s incredible. The benefits of a red dot and magnifier but with better eye relief and better zoom. At 1X my razor feels like any other red dot
